You sure that you don't belong to Michigan 35-1?  They don't do anything either and that is why I'll be hanging with Ohio.  I believe in the Mission, but I hate cliques'.  I also hate liars and backstabbers and there are a few in Michigan.  To bad that they did away with Member-At-Large.

Scooter, I thought that a second chapter or even a detachment would work, but there is a lot of resistance from the State Board of directors.  All they want is a title and just  party.  They do very little to help vets and that is not what I signed on for.  I like to party as much as the next person, maybe even more, but there is a time to get a job done and these motherphuckers ain't about doing the work.  Fuck them .

Rocky was the one that got in touch with myself and Shep to write the by-laws for Michigan.  Rocky knew that I had written by-laws before for two other organizations and asked me for my help.  That all went good, until Rocky had health problems and stepped down as commander.  We also had one of the original 45 who was State Rep and he stepped down for health reasons also ... just about the same time.  The State rep submitted three names to National, one being mine.  I got a call from National and they asked me if I would consider taking the job until the next State election.  I agreed and then all hell broke loose.  We had lies, defamation of character, slander and all kinds of bullshit.

Michigan now has a different state Rep, who was never voted on and a new commander, who is as lazy as they come.  Hell this unit is worse than any fuckin leg unit I ever knew and they are just a bunch of little children playing house.   The State Board of Directors has already posted on their private site, which I used to be privy to, that they do not want another chapter or detachment, even though it is is the State By-laws.  Just a bunch of wanna-be assholes.

Just way to much bullshit, cliques and politics here in Michigan.  Hell, I left Rolling Thunder because of the same thing.  I don't intend to leave CVMA, but  I'll be damned if I'll support the commander or the State Rep.  I'll ride with the Ohio Chapter, where people are more cordial and they are concerned about doing something about the Mission, unlike these Wolverines that just want to party and wear a patch.   I want to ride and help vets.
