Title: observations
Post by: sticky on August 17, 2014, 06:33:17 AM
I've gotten in on many rides this year from poker runs to wounded warrioe rides.I have crossed paths with Combat Vets;Warrior Watch;VFW AND lEGION RIDERS ;pAGANS;oUTLAWS and just plain ole Abate riders. Now I like to fuck with people our in other words I try and be friendly to everyone no matter what they ride so here are my oppinions of supposedly other riders

Warriors watch = I've had 3 interactions with these guys  what a bunch of stuck up fuckin snobs if I've ever seen vets
Legio riders wouldn't give me the time of day
Combat Vets= Although I'm a member of 22-5 others who've I have never met until these rides are just plain un-friendly to me and the wife on any ride I've attended even had one yesterday snubbed me for riding a Yamaha....fuck you!
Pagans= Suprisingly these guys I know a few were nothing but nice to me and the wife;to them they thank me for my service and were happy to be on the ride yesterday no maybe as a group they might act differently but.

In conclusion I joined Combat Vets to find others who liked to ride and Brotherhood and have found neither;Ive asked about starting a new chapter around here but the VFW and Legion riders just seem to want or Patch wearers as I never see them doing shit

Sorry to hear your locals suck. I have preferred solo riding for awhile. Haven't done any group stuff in more than a year.

The CVMA, in my opinion, is all based on the local leadership and how they handle their people. If they foster the bullshit, it will stagnate and turn in to that. Too many people who want to be 1%'s but are too damn scared to join. If your membership is nothing more than wanting a patch, you will reap what you sow.

Just a disgruntled old guy at the moment.

Yeah Dave I've become pretty disgruntled myself lately;I do a lot of riding alone sometimes its ok but if the opportunity arises to actualy go some where it really sucks.BTW  you in Texas yet? I might be making a work trip to Lufkin soon to help do a press re-build.Doing so as it'll give me some insight on wheather I wanna do a transfer next year

I agree with Towed Jumper -- staying independent is the way to go -- I gots plenty of 1% buddies amd could care less about ANY outfit except Patriot Guard and USPMA. I sure hope one day we can all wear a BIG ass USPMA patch with big ass "Airborne" tab above it. Apart from all this happy horseshit, its damn good to be back and damn good to STILL be alive. No shit. There I was, surrounded by the gooks/haji/NKoreans AND Russkies.... I took 'em ALL out then drank from my canteen, wiped my brow and looked down at a great big ass pile of Victory Brass [jeep].

Seriously had a lot of real close calls with the reaper dude and he aint half bad.... Standing by for a new heart.... hope to receive a call for transplant greenlight soon. I'm listed as a 1-B on the T-plant list. Fingers crossed. Good to be here...

Oh yeah Mr Towed Jumper dude, ALL my info is same same. Bike has cobwebs, dead battery and chipmunks living in the saddlebags.... hope to be on it soon.

The Massey out.

Ya know ther are not a lot of vet rbut there are a lot of Vet riders in Chatt but there are a lot of riders and clubs. I am a member of an MC as well as uspma and I have had nothin but love from the riders here, They all seem to get along my neighbor is the pres of the Black Pistons here and his son is a long time member of the Widow Makers. My baby girl's God Father is a long time Member of the Freedom Riders and my wifes self proclaimed God Father is pres of the local Outlaw chapter, they have all welcomed me with open arms and shown nothin' but love even though i ride a crotch rocket, 1 love 2 wheels is the chatt way it's a great scene here. just my 0.02 cents.
